THE ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL TOSCANO IGP The organic extra virgin olive oil Toscano igp is produced with olives harvested by hand at the correct point of maturation, from trees of Moraiolo, Frantoio, Leccino and Pendolino species. Cold-pressed in a day, the olives preserve their fruitiness and their healthy caracteristics, and they allow to produce an oil rich of vitamines (A,D,E) and nutritive elements, with a very low acidity, an oil of higher quality brilliant-green coloured; the spicy feeling is clearly perceptible and its bitter taste is well balanced; the flavour is intense and you can feel the after-taste of artichoke and cardoon. Every year, when temperatures near 20 degrees, we produce small amount of Monocultivar "Frantoio" and "Leccino". These selections, bottled in a limited number, are the equivalent of the french Champagne in the field of wines. The VERDE DEL COLLE olive oil is a product of awesome quality and awesome flavour. It's rich in polyphenols, so the process of aging is retarded, either of the oil or of the uman body. The olive oil makes an anti oxidant activity, an anti cholesterol action, as well as anti cancer and anti infarction.
